  Identity theft is an easy, low-risk, high-reward type of crime and a threat to everyone. It is the fastest-growing type of crime and is now more profitable than drug-related crimes. From 2013 to 2014, the number of successful breaches went up by 27.5 percent. The malicious actors are winning the war. Anti-virus systems and advanced firewalls are necessary security elements, as are vulnerability tests. Without user authentication, though, the front door is wide open to intruders. Employees from many companies are already accustomed to authenticating themselves in their personal lives, as providers of online services like home banking, gaming, social media, and email have all adopted mobile-based tools to effectively authenticate their users when accessing their systems.   District Attorneys Support Hub If you need assistance involving the following: Troubleshooting computer related issues (state owned desktops, laptops, Surface computers, etc.) Multifunction printers District office internet connections Installation of software applications Errors or problems involving software applications JustWare Purchasing computers, equipment, devices, etc. (must be submitted by the District Administrative Assistant) Pretty much anything technically related Submit a support request ticket at https://dash.tndagc.org It is imperative everyone submit a support request at the Support Hub instead of contacting IT Staff directly. HEIC and H.265 Codec Install Instructions

  Are you having problems playing High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) videos and viewing HEIC photos? If you have been having issues viewing iPhone (HEIC) native photos, please follow these instructions. 1. Click or copy and past the following link into your web browser address bar:  ms-windows-store://pdp/?ProductId=9n4wgh0z6vhq   2. You will be prompted by the following popup window. 3. Click the Open button which will direct you to the Microsoft Store app. 4. In the Microsoft Store app, click the Install button. 5. If a log in page appears, click the Cancel button. The download and installation should begin on your computer. 6. After successful installation, a product is installed message appears. You can close the Microsoft Store app. Once installed, you will be able to view iPhone "HEIC" native photos in any photo viewing application installed on your computer.
